MUDr. Ondřej Fiala, Ph.D.
head of the neurological department,
professional representative of INEP
He graduated in the General Medicine programme at the 2. LF UK in Prague
He got his clinical experience at the Neurological Clinic 1. LF UK and VFN in Prague and in the Centre of Extrapyramidal Disorders
From 2007 to 2009 he worked abroad in the fundamental research focused on the molecular pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease (Experimental Neurology Unit, Philipps University, Marburg, Germany)
In 2012 he finished his specialisation in neurology
In 2014 he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation called “The genetics and phenotype characteristics of Parkinson’s disease” and earned a Ph.D. degree at the Charles University in Prague
His major clinical interests are extrapyramidal and neurodegenerative disorders, he repeatedly publishes articles and delivers presentations regarding both topics, he also received a number of important grants
He is a co-founder of the Neuropsychiatric Forum and of the Association of Patients with Tourette Syndrome, he is also a member of Czech Neurological Society ČLS JEP, Movement Disorders Society and the European Society for the Study of Tourette Syndrome
Since 2017 he has been a member of the committee of the Extrapyramidal Section of the Czech Neurological Society
In INEP he is the head of the neurological department and a professional representative, he focuses particularly on diagnostics and treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, tremors, tics and Tourette syndrome

MUDr. Jana Hanková
She graduated in the General Medicine programme at the Third Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague
She underwent a study internship at the University of Catanzaro in Italy
Since 2009 she has been working as a secondary clinician at the Neurological Clinic of the Third Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University and Královské Vinohrady University Hospital, she is focusing mostly on diagnostics and treatment of patients with Parkinson's disease
Until 2013 she was also a teaching assistant at the Third Faculty of Medicine
She is a member of the Czech Neurological Society
She has been working at INEP since 2018
Her services are available for Czech and English speaking patients, she also speaks German

She graduated in the General Medicine programme at the 3. LF UK in Prague
In 2012 she finished her specialisation in neurology
She works as a neurologist at the Neurological Clinic 3. LF UK a FNKV
She absolved specialist courses such as: acupuncture, myosceletary medicine, and electromyography course
As a clinician, she took part in humanitarian aid programme in Tesanj Hospital in Bosnia in conjunction with ADRA association
Since 2014 she has worked at INEP, her main interests are the therapy and diagnostics of neuromuscular disorders, spine diseases, migraine • and special conditions between neurology and psychiatry

MUDr. Tomáš Nežádal, Ph.D.
He graduated in the General Medicine programme at the 1. LF UK in Prague
In 2003 he finished his specialisation in neurology
In 2010 he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation called “Psychogenic non-epileptic seizures” and earned a Ph.D. degree at the Palacky University in Olomouc
Since 2016 he has worked at the department of neurology of the Military University Hospital in Prague he focuses on epileptology and headache
From 1996 to 2015 he worked at the neurological department of the Na Františku Hospital, where he was the head of the video- EEG monitoring unit in the epilepsy centre
He also does emergency services at the intensive care unit in the • Regional Kladno Hospital JIP neurological department
He is an electroencephalography specialist and epileptologist
He teaches at the Neurosurgical clinic of the 1. LF UK in Prague
He did an internship at the Cleveland Clinic in the USA
He is an author and co-author of more than 20 scientific articles in international journals with impact factor (for example Neurological Research, Seizure) and co-author of many monographs ( for example Clinical electroencephalography, Epilepsy of temporal lobe etc.)
He gives dozens of presentations in Czech as well as international conferences
He is a member of the Czech Neurological Society ČLS JEP, Czech Association for Clinical Neurophysiology and Czech League against Epilepsy
Since 2014 he has worked at INEP and his main interests are epilepsy diagnostics and treatment, headache and conditions between neurology and psychiatry

She graduated in the General Medicine programme at the 1. LF UK in Prague
In 2000 she finished her first degree attestation in neurology, in 2003 she did her second degree attestation
Since 1997 she has worked at the Neurological Clinic of the 1. LF UK and VFN in Prague
Besides clinical work, she also teaches students at the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University
In 2003 she successfully defended his doctoral dissertation called “Activity markers of multiple sclerosis in cerebrospinal fluid “ and earned a Ph.D. degree at the Charles University in Prague
She is a member of the Neuroimmunology Section of the Czech Medical Association of J.E.Purkyně
She was working on a several clinical trials
Since 2017 she has worked at INEP and she is interested in a wide spectrum of adult neurology problems, her main interests are a headache and autoimmune diseases

She graduated in the General Medicine programme at the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague
In 2022 she finished her specialisation in neurology
From 2010 to 2014 she was working as a secondary clinician at Neurological Clinic of Motol University Hospital
From 2014 to 2015 she was working as a secondary clinician at the Department of Neurorehabilitation of Reha Rheinfelden Clinic in Switzerland
From 2015 to 2017 she was working as a secondary clinician at the Memory Clinic and Geriatric Psychiatry Department of Felix Platter-Spital, Universitäres Zentrum für Altersmedizin in Basel, Switzerland
She absolved a course of extracranial sonography of brain arteries
She also did many intrernational study and clinical internships (in France, Germany, Great Britain)
In 2019 she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation called “Neurosonographic markers of progression of cognitive decline in patients with dementia” and earned a Ph.D. degree at the Charles University in Prague

Since 1996 she has worked at the Neurological Clinic 1. LF UK a VFN in Prague, and in the Centre of Extrapyramidal Disorders of the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University and in neurological consulting room in Kladno
She did an internship in the Centre for Clinical Research in Toulouse in France
She is a member of the Czech Neurological Society of the ČLS JEP
Since 2015 she has worked at INEP, her main interests are the diagnostics and treatment of Parkinson’ s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders
